Workshops in Oils & Watercolour
I have structured these workshops to benefit the student attending on a monthly or one
off basis. Each will be held in Shrawley from 10am - 2pm. Fees are £45 per workshop.
Drawing & Watercolour for Beginners
Tuesdays - 23rd June, 21st July, 22nd September, 13th October,
24th November & 15th December.
Oils for Beginners
Thursdays - 25th June, 23rd July, 24th September, 15th October,
26th November & 17th December.
Watercolour for Improvers
Fridays - 26th June, 24th July, 25th September, 16th October,
27th November & 18th December
Weekend Tuition in Aberdovey
I have been running painting weekends in Aberdovey for four years including early
summer and autumn trips. I know the area well and always aim to find the best
painting locations depending on the weather but always include exciting seafront
and mountain locations. My groups never exceed 10 students and non-painting
partners are always welcome.
All you need to do is organise your accommodation and meet me in Aberdovey on
the Friday afternoon. I will have booked an evening meal in my favourite restaurant
where we can all get to know each other and discuss the weekend to follow.
My next trip will be Friday 2nd - Sunday 4th October 09.Early Riser Classes
Held each Saturday morning throughout July, these popular classes are for those
who enjoy, or would like to try, on site painting in either watercolour or oils. It does not
matter whether you are a regular painter or just getting started, my aim is to give
practical advice and inspiration.
Groups meet in Shrawley Village Hall car park at 6:45am and then walk out on site for 4
hours tuition, returning by midday for refreshments.
You can book just one or several dates to suit you.
Watercolour dates - 4th or 11th July
Oils dates - 18th or 25th July
Weekly Classes
I run weekly classes in Shrawley Village Hall throughout the year on either Monday
mornings or Thursday evenings. Please contact me to find out dates and availabilty of
places.
Personal Paint Days
Spend a full day out painting in our beautiful countryside where I will provide
transport, tuition and a pub lunch. Ideal as a special gift for the budding landscape
painter. Further details available upon request.
