Daily Sketching.

If you are keen about learning to paint landscapes then you need to be keen about sketching.

Keep a little sketchbook with you at all times (in your car, bag, rucksack etc) and use it to record scenes on a regular basis; daily if possible.

It's a rewarding thing to do in itself but is also a great way to improve your landscape painting.
